D: Construction Update for week of Oct. 17, 2022
The following construction activities are planned at the locations above.
- Sidewalk construction where driveways are complete
- Water meter relocations
- Utility potholing
- Mailbox relocations
- Vegetation removal
- Irrigation work
- Parking restrictions
- Limited pedestrian access
- Pre-construction activities
During driveway reconstruction residents may not drive on, or park in, the driveway for up to 12 days, which may only include one weekend. PLEASE PARK ACROSS THE STREET. Crews will demolish, grade, form, and place concrete, this is a moving operation. Sidewalk construction begins where driveways are complete.
After new concrete is placed, residents may not walk on driveway or sidewalk for 24 hours and may not park on driveway for 72 hours.
Saw cutting work prepares for driveway demolition, excavation, and reconstruction. Affected residents can expect large machinery, loud noises and dust during working hours.
Vegetation clearing continues. Please remove any plants or shrubs in the marked project area that you would like to save.
Potholing, where crews cut holes in the ground/street to investigate what’s underground. This is a moving operation, please watch for crews working in the street.
WATER METER & FIRE HYDRANT RELOCATIONS
Water service may be disrupted for up to 3 – 5 hours once your water is shut off. Residents will receive a door hanger with the date and instruction for the planned disruption.
Crews continue large tree and stump removals throughout the project area. The outreach team has left flyers at affected residences. Please remove any plants that you would like to save within a 6-foot radius of large trees and or stumps that are marked with bright orange dots or an x.
